Are you a fan of the Japanese condiment, wasabi? Well, here it is in furikake form.

Furikake in Japanese literally means to "shake and sprinkle", and has become the name of salted garnishings most commonly sprinkled on white Japanese rice to flavor it, or to add a bit of color. This furikake has bits of sesame seeds, nori (seaweed), bonito flakes, and of course, the wasabi bits from Shizuoka Prefecture add the unique punch in this mix.

Use these wasabi sprinkles to add a bit of tingly sensation to your dishes! In Japan, it is common to mix furikake into the rice in order to make onigiri (rice balls). You can also use it as a seasoning for other dishes, such as in salad dressing or as a topping for pasta.
