Tea Recipe: Matcha Scone with Pancake Mix

Matcha Powder

Ingredients:

  • Pancake mix 200g (7.05 oz)
  • Matcha 1 tablespoon (Kitchen Grade Matcha recommended)
  • Butter (room temperature) 50g (1.76 oz)
  • Milk 40cc (1.36 fl oz)
  • White chocolate about 50g-60g (1.76-2.11 oz)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 170C (338F)
  2. Chop white chocolate into desirable size
  3. Add matcha into pancake mix and stir
  4. Add butter (room temperature) into [3] and mix
  5. Add milk and chocolate into [4] and knead
  6. Finally, use your hands to knead, bundle the dough, and place it on a baking sheet
  7. Press dough into a circle to desired thickness and cut into 8 wedges
  8. Bake in 170C (338F) oven for 25 min
