独特のミルキーな香り 

静岡県吉原の冷たい山の空気の中で春に収穫されたこの最初のフラッシュ単一栽培品種(高春)は、 茶農家の村上春樹氏によるものです。この品種は比較的新しいもので、2000年6月26日に静岡県で品種登録されました。他の品種に比べて、ほのかなミルクのような香りが特徴的です。

農場紹介

農園の4代目当主となる村上弘樹氏によると、一家が茶の栽培を始めた正確な時期は分からないが、19世紀後半に最初の加工工場を建設したのは同氏の曽祖父だという。

静岡市内の雲海で有名な山間部、吉原地区を拠点に、家族で年間約2トンのお茶(一番茶と二番茶)を生産しています。

村上さんは数年前から紅茶の生産を始めましたが、その生産物は日本で数々の賞を受賞しています。
