The United States announced at the end of July that they will be eliminating the $800 de minimis exception for small imports, and charging 15% tariff for all shipments on goods from Japan.
The US has some 4 million shipments coming in daily that will be affected, and we expect significant chaos as couriers like DHL, FedEx and UPS attempt to collect those tariffs and customs processing fees from recipients.
To avoid shipment delays, we plan to incorporate tariffs and fees into our pricing, and arrange for payment through our system.
If this arrangement works well with the USA, we may expand it to other countries.
This situation may change at any time, so return here for the latest update.
